HAB International, established in 1980, has been the official Southern African dealership for the Rapiscan range of products for more than 20 years.
Specialising in supplying airport security equipment as well as installing, servicing and supporting security X-ray equipment and metal detectors, HAB International widened its scope to include the production of specialist vehicles such as airport crash trucks and a variety of custom-built fire-fighting engines. The company has built in excess of 300 emergency vehicles ranging from the special riot-control units to airport RIV’s and high-tech incident command-control vehicles, and received its Facility Security Clearance from Armscor.
The company’s X-ray technicians are factory trained and licensed by the Department of Health in terms of the relevant Government notice.
